Volunteer »

Two people wearing volunteer shirts hugging each other There are several ways for you to jump in and help out in person. Our conservation days focus on whatever is of concern in your local area, whether that’s picking up trash, keeping established trails in good repair, helping cut back invasive non-native species, planting a butterfly garden, or something entirely different. Chances are your community has a branch of the iMIS Foundation and the projects and possibilities are endless!

Give »

Group of children holding donate signs Your generous donations, whether monetary or in-kind, help us further our work in conservation education, clean-up efforts, and creation and preservation of parks and green spaces. You can give on a monthly basis and as a tribute or honorarium for a friend or loved one. With your support, we will work to prevent catastrophic climate change, protect and preserve our oceans and ancient forests, and create a peaceful environment for everyone to enjoy for generations to come.

Contribute to our educational curriculum and teach classes for schools and scouting troops

The iMIS Foundation’s educational working group meets at our national conference once a year and sets goals for what areas of conservation and preservation education we want to focus on for the next year. We develop classroom curriculum, pamphlets, interactive guides, and other teaching materials focusing on the year’s theme. This year, the focus is on wetlands preservation.

You can also sign up to teach classes and make presentations to groups and schools in your community using our educational materials. Help promote a passion for preserving our natural world and have a great time doing it!

Become a legislative activist and take action »

Want to hold a rally for environmental concerns in your area? Network with other like-minded iMIS Foundation supporters to coordinate one. Want to know which local legislator to contact for your state, province, or district? We can help you. Are you an attorney who wants to volunteer your time with the iMIS Foundation in our preservation litigation efforts? Let us know! We are looking for attorneys with all kinds of legal backgrounds from civil to criminal to help with briefs, motions, and other aspects of litigation relating to stopping the unnecessary destruction of habitats.
